The Mail Order Shoppe Affiliate Terms of Service
These are in addition to the Terms of Service for the Shareasale Network, that are also in effect.
This affiliate agreement applies to The Mail Order Shoppe, and our brands – Engraved Crystal Shoppe, Custom Signs and Plaques, Custom Ceramic Stoneware, and EngravableGifts2Go. This agreement is subject to change with 7 days email notice through the Shareasale Affiliate interface. Continuation in our program after the terms have been posted constitutes agreement to any changes. It is the affiliate’s responsibility to have a working email address available in Shareasale so that such notices can be delivered. Failure to maintain a working email address where we can contact you is grounds for removal from the affiliate program.
1. KEYWORD ADVERTISING RESTRICTIONS
1a. No bidding on our parent company, The Mail Order Shoppe, our brands (Engraved Crystal Shoppe, Custom Signs and Plaques, Custom Ceramic Stoneware, and EngravableGifts2Go) or any mis-spellings. Subject to change with 30 day advance notice.
1b. Direct to merchant bidding is allowed on non-restricted keywords, as long as you do NOT use the terms “Official Site” or make the ad look like you are the company.

2. COUPON AND DEALS SITES ADDITIONAL TERMS
2a. Affiliates may not use misleading text on affiliate links, buttons or images to imply that anything besides currently authorized deals or other savings are available.
2b. Affiliates may not bid on Engraved Crystal Shoppe, Custom Signs and Plaques, Custom Ceramic Stoneware, and EngravableGifts2Go Coupons or other phrases implying coupons are available if there is 1. not a coupon posted or 2. no coupons or savings available. Expired coupons need to be removed in a timely manner (leaving them posted indefinitely will get you removed from the Affiliate Program).
2c. Affiliates may not generate pop-ups, pop-unders, iframes, frames, or any other seen or unseen actions that set affiliate cookies unless the user has expressed a clear and explicit interest in activating a specific savings by clicking on a clearly marked link, button or image for that particular coupon or deal. Your link must send the visitor to the merchant site.
2d. User must be able to see coupon/deal/savings information and details before an affiliate cookie is set (i.e. “click here to see coupons and open a window to merchant site” is NOT allowed).
3. IMAGE USAGE
Affiliates are encouraged to display images of Engraved Crystal Shoppe, Custom Signs and Plaques, Custom Ceramic Stoneware, and EngravableGifts2Go products on their sites to increase clickthrough and conversions however the following rules must be observed:
3a. Affiliates must hot link to the images on Engraved Crystal Shoppe, Custom Signs and Plaques, Custom Ceramic Stoneware, and EngravableGifts2Go unless they get specific permission from the affiliate manager
3b. Affiliates must agree to remove any images that have been requested to be removed from their sites within 30 days of such request. When products go out of stock we may be requested by the manufacturers to remove all reference to their products.
4. New York State Affiliates clause:
If Affiliate is based in New York State or has office(s) located within New York State, Merchant will only allow Affiliate to promote Merchant brand(s) and/or web site(s) via Affiliate’s web site. Affiliate may not promote Merchant through any other marketing channel, that targets NYS residents, including, but not limited to: paid search marketing, e-mail marketing, offline marketing, (including flyers and physical newsletters), lead generation, mobile marketing or telemarketing.
New York State affiliates CAN use these methods to market their *own website*, as long as the ad copy, email, etc does NOT mention the Merchant directly.
5. EMAIL RESTRICTIONS
Affiliate agrees that they will not engage in spamming, unlawful mass emailing or any unapproved emailing or in any way fail to comply with the CAN SPAM Act of 2003 (Public Law 108-187 or any additional legislation), and/or any other rules, laws or regulations that govern email marketing and advertising. Affiliate agrees that their promotional activities will not infringe on The Mail Order Shoppe’s protected business rights, including but not limited to copywrite and trademark rights.
6. DATAFEEDS
We are happy to provide affiliates with datafeed access to our product catalog. Fresh product links lead to more conversions! Tools will be provided to assist with keeping fresh content on your sites, including widgets, external tools and other media.
7. OTHER RESTRICTIONS
7a. No software downloads or technology that may be used to intercept, redirect or divert traffic and/or referral fees from EngravedCrystalShoppe.com or any of its affiliate partners. This restriction includes browser helper objects (BHOs), spyware, adware, parasiteware(tm) and similar products.
7b. Traffic Exchanges, autosurfing or pay-to-surf promotions, pop-ups, pop-unders, and other seen or unseen setting of cookies are NOT allowed.
7c. Domain squatting or using misspellings of the The Mail Order Shoppe, and our brands – Engraved Crystal Shoppe, Custom Signs and Plaques, Custom Ceramic Stoneware, and EngravableGifts2Go as your top level domain name are prohibited.
7d. The Mail Order Shoppe prohibits sites that are link farms or banner farms, i.e. there is no content on the site other than lists of text links or banners.
