Thanks to this thread I did some research today and found out that tonight there was going to be the biggest full moon until Nov 2016. Because of the closeness of the moon to earth and a bunch of other factors, we would actually be able to see more of the moon’s surface than we normally can. And even here in NYC where there is a LOT of ambient light. So I went out and decided to give it a shot to photograph the moon. Thanks to a post on a message board I now have the best photos I have ever taken of the moon, which will eventually make it onto Loxly Gallery where you as an affiliate can sell them :). Plus I also know about the brightest meteor shower that I should be able to photograph sometime between today and Monday or Tuesday.
